Shipping 

We currently only Ship in Australia. Our courier is FastWay Australia.

The shipping costs are based on weight/dimensions and FastWay have a maximum weight/dimensions of 25kg (this is why a few of our larger items can not be shipped - for these items you must pick up or organise your own courier).

Please pay close attention to the cost of shipping as for some of our bulky items shipping can be very expensive. If shipping is too expensive please consider our Customer Collect options. 

Approximate Shipping Times:

ILLAWARRA/SYDNEY - Please allow 3-5 working days from time of placing order to receive.

NSW/VIC/QLD - Please allow 5-7 working days from time of placing order to receive. For some more remote areas in QLD it may be more like 7-10 working days

All other states - Please allow 10-15 working days (although it should arrive sooner to avoid disappointment please allow at least this much time) 

CHRISTMAS PERIOD - Please note during the Christmas Period FastWay may require an additional 2-5 working days to get the items to you. To ensure you receive in time for Christmas please place all orders (exc. NSW, Sydney and Illawarra orders) by 5th Dec. For NSW please place by the 10th of Dec. For Sydney and Illawarra please place by 14th Dec. 

Customer Collect or Organise Own Courier

We understand that you may wish to pick the item up yourself, or organise your own courier (if you find a more competitive shipping price). Our Pick Up locations for you collecting can be either Matraville (Sydney) or Albion Park Rail (Illawarra, NSW). Please select this option in the check out process and once payment is received we will be in contact to arrange date/time of pick up. 

For Organising your Own Courier - Please note this service is only available from our main workshop in Albion Park Rail. Lick the pick up option, please select this option in the check out process and we will work together to organise the appropriate date/time for the courier to come. DO NOT arrange the courier without speaking with us first (you will need us to provide the address anyway). We will NOT take responsibility for any charges the courier applies if the courier turns up outside of the agreed date/time.  

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened, unused items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Unless the item is faulty it will be the customers (your) responsibility to return the item/s to The Maker's Shed via a courier (customer to organise and pay for) or to one of the two drop off locations; Matraville or Albion Park Rail. Any cost incurred, including but not limited to, shipping, petrol etc, will be covered by the customer (you) and not The Maker's Shed. 

You must contact to arrange the return within 30days of collecting the original goods.
